Iran has qualified to 2006 World Cup in Germany after a 1-0 win over Bahrain. Mohammad Nosrati scored the only goal on the game early in the second half.

The victory also settles an old score with Bahrain, whose 3-1 win over Iran in the final game of the 2002 World Cup qualifying competition denied the Iranians automatic qualification for Korea/Japan 2002. in that game Bahrain players had rise the falg of saudi arabia !!!!!!!!!
